A short history of zumba

Zumba was invented in Colombia, in the late 20th century by dancer and choreographer, Alberto “Beto” Perez. The choreographies are mainly inspired by the Latin climate. There are elements of salsa, reggaeton, samba, tango and flamenco. Zumba is a combination of various dance genres with aerobic exercises. In 1999, the idea for these classes came to America and then spread further. Currently, zumba is one of the most popular training classes in Poland
